Michel Bettane: Dark blue color, as for many St-Juliens; spicy nose, classical texture and balance, refined, understated but precise: lovely. 17.5

Thierry Desseauve: Dark color, flowery aromas, pure and intense, super-classic and brilliant. 17

Michael Schuster: fine cedar, mineral, and briskly fruity Cabernet nose; nicely balanced in its firmer style, freshly defined and with a deliciously ripe core fruit of moderate complexity, nice length of flavor, and excellent length. Should make an attractively impressive Gloria in due course. 2020–30+. 15.5+
