Michel Bettane: Rich, round, lots of stuff, excellent tannin support, splendid 2009. 17

Thierry Desseauve: The fruit is brilliantly demonstrative, the wine is rich and well balanced and gives a feeling of joy and elation. 17

Michael Schuster: Plenty of ripe fruit within a very firm oak-dry tannin; a splendidly sweet, abundantly juicy core within that very dry oak-tannin frame, and very nice fruit length on the aftertaste. Immediately pleasing, initially flattering, but a bit tiring for more than a glass or two? 2020–30? 16+
