BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Mid ruby/purple. Floral, aromatic nose of rose petal and jasmine. Red fruits, alluring, appealing. Attractive palate, too: sweet, quite forward, but with lovely poise and acidity and minerality. Low-key winemaking, allowing the fruit to speak and (hence) expressing the best of the variety. Floral and well balanced. | 16

Alex Hunt | Resinous wood dominates this nose and palate. Tough and compact in the mouth, this fails to express any fruit sweetness or personality aside from toasted-coconut, sawdusty oak. | 11

Stephan Reinhardt | Dark purple. Reductive nose with Brett aromas. Silky texture, good freshness and concentration, quite firmly structured. Not that long, though. | 14
