Michael Edwards: 40% oak-fermented. Usually the star of Bernard’s premiers crus, and certainly so here, showing the seductive opulence of the cru, an enviable sun trap that caught all the rays of the hot August. Elegant green/gold, looks ideally ripe. On both nose and palate, this has everything: complex fruit expression, citrus and oriental, including mango; restrained opulence on the palate and a burgeoning vinosity to come. A star of the vintage. 18.5
