Neil Beckett: At this early stage, the wine is less expressive than its near-neighbor Montée de Tonnerre, and while it may also be more bourgeois, as Hervé Tucki says, it is still une bonne bourgeoisie quand même. What it may lack (relatively speaking) in exhilaration and tension, it more than makes up for in finesse, silken supplesse, and overall harmony. 17
