Neil Beckett: From what is clearly a very good site near Nuits-St-George, this is (like the Mont Battois in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune) a model of its kind: medium-deep ruby, an impressive depth of color, but no excess on the nose, which is still closed but balanced and clean; good clarity and intensity, with no roughness even at this early stage, and even more promising than the seductive 2011. 15.5
