Neil Beckett: A sacrificial trie, but well worth it, on the basis of this tank sample, with a second racking due to be carried out in January or February before bottling in April. White gold; clean on the nose, enigmatic, as so often in youth, but with an intriguing, positive, sweet herbal scent. Medium-bodied, dense, rich, and supple, with beautifully balanced acidity and plenty of matière without any sense of weight, and perfect poise on the finish. 18.5
