Richard Mayson: Gentle, ripe, slightly biscuity oak aromas with melon fruit; fine, citrus flavors on a backdrop of savory, toasty oak that asserts itself in a nice way on the finish. Complex and well balanced, with depth and length. Drink over the next 3–5 years. 16
Charles Metcalfe: Lemony fruit, with a distinctly oaky overtone. Highish acidity and pretty oaky, slightly disguising the wine behind. It’s good, with a salty, tangy minerality, but I wish it had slightly less oak infl uence. 14
Joanna Simon: Fresh, floral, grassy aromas. Succulent, grassy, herbal fruit on the palate, with green-olive tapenade flavor and a rich, oily, oak-enriched texture offset by acidity. Good concentration; a little bit soft on the finish. 15
