Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A touch of toasty reduction on the nose; a very powerful wine for the vintage but perfectly balanced and harmonious, with judiciously extracted tannins. Great style, great future. | 18

Michael Schuster | Deep color; finely mineral and fragrant nose, withatouch of Cabernet herbaceousness; polished, as usual, with a firm fine tannin around a modest fruit core with a hint of sweetness; a lively acidity, finesse within the firm tannin, but modest complexity for the property, and then a finish of gentle fruit persistence. Good, but hardly grand! 2020–30. | 17
