BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Deep, translucent black-ruby. Lively, urgent scents: some meaty fullness, but the liveliness and urgency seem to come from box or privet- hedge snippings (just beyond herbaceous). Expressive and articulate. Tight-drawn on the palate, and acid-structured, the acidity insistent though rounded. Bright redcurrant fruits. Has the classiness and poise of its origins, but there is no substance or tannic mass to carry the wine, so I would drink this soon, lightly chilled, before the redcurrants fade and the acids grow bony. | 85

Michael Schuster | A pretty bouquet already, blackcurrant and gravel; light, fresh to crisp in acidity, barely any tannin. A straightforward, light, redcurrant fruit flavor. To drink young. Now to 2025+. | 87
