BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Semillon waxy and a light grapefruit Sauvignon; elegantly firm balance of fairly grand proportions; ripe yet very dry, rich and concentrated with a real sense of matter, and yet racy and refined to taste, too; a wine with great length of flavor, a superb density, and impressive persistence, coating the palate in both fruit and aroma on the finish. This is very special, a wine of enormous finesse, with a splendid, effortless quality alongside the impressive concentration. A great La Mission Haut-Brion blanc. Really lovely. 2020–35. | 19
