Michel Bettane: Peppery and spicy, with perhaps undue bitterness, precise tannins, well made but harvested too ripe for my taste. 15.5
Thierry Desseauve: Deep color, dark and ultra-ripe fruit, spicy, generous, there is alcoholic intensity but a real lack of freshness. 15
Michael Schuster: Very nice ripe-fruit nose; well-balanced, fullish, graceful wine, with a fine-textured tannin; long, even, gentle Merlot flavor, subtle, complex, nicely sustained, and with fine aromatic length. Understated, but good, if still new-oak-dry. 2020–30+. 16
