Stephen Brook: Straw. Bright tropical fruit on the nose. The attack is lean and lively and far from lush or voluptuous, but the acidity carries the fruit nicely. There’s an attractive balance between heady fruit and a precise structure. Medium finish, but fresh and charming. 15
Alex Hunt: Vaguely apricotty, but overall a fairly neutral nose. On the palate, wood is allowed to dominate, though the creamy texture is consistent with the variety. The finish is heavy and overly creamy, with no real lift. A rather pedestrian wine. 12.5
Andrew Jefford: Pale green-gold. Relatively neutral aromatic profile: a vague sense of sweet flowers. Light, acidic, simple stuff, needing much lower yields and later harvesting to make anything that will ever approximate to the greatest international benchmarks. The sweet flowers are a gesture in the right direction. 11.5
