Nicolas Belfrage: Quite deep, almost opaque. Very attractive floral-scented nose; invites you in. Delightful sweet-and-sour fruit on palate, with okay tannins giving the slightest bitterness; very good length. Drinking now, with a few years to go. 17.5
Bruno Besa: Black core to garnet, tawny rim. Touch musty nose of forest undergrowth, with prune juice and some spices. A touch dried out on the palate. 15
Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Mellow black-cherry nose. Supple, juicy, and ripe, this has a welcome lightness of touch and some deftness and charm. It doesn’t lack tannin, and there is a slight dryness on the finish that detracts from the overall pleasure. 14.5
