Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth with beginnings of turn. Immediate impact of cherry-berry fruit on nose. Middle concentration, refreshing acidity, and tannins in place; good length and character. Drinking now but has character to improve over a few years. 16
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to thin tawny rim. Floral, open nose. A touch volatile yet, with lively red fruit with some rosemary and thyme. Very disappointing palate, fairly aggressive, and short, with little appeal. 12
Stephen Brook: Deep red. Lush toasty nose, showing plenty of oak, but also has good density of fruit: cherries, blackberries. Very ripe and a touch sweet as though there was a blocked fermentation. Also the alcohol seems high and the tannins a touch coarse. It’s rather clumsy, and there’s some dryness on the finish. Moderate length. 14
