Michel Bettane: Big color, spicy nose, almost verging on the overripe; lots of body, dry but big tannins, needs aging. 16.5
Thierry Desseauve: Beautifully built: spectacular association between ripe red-fruit notes and oak aromas, fullness, length, in a very, very ripe style. The best Marquis de Terme for decades. 17.5
Michael Schuster: A medium-full Margaux, with a firm tannin around the fresh, ripe fruit; a modest complexity and medium length. At the moment, still a bit oak-dry and will need time. 2018–25. 15+
