BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Big color, spicy rich nose, good body, high and evident alcohol content, very Meyney, with more than a hint of truffle, reminding one of Pomerol. 16.5

Thierry Desseauve: Dark garnet, alcohol on the nose, with coffee and cedar aromas, generosity and richness; a long-distance runner. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Very Médoc-mineral nose; a bit rustic in style, not least because of the quality of its tannins; both very fruity and very (St-Estèphe) tannic; you have to like the style; but good of its type if this is what you want. 2020–30. 14+
