BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Black color, very spicy and “hot” nose, super-ripe, tannins firm and curiously sharp, high alcohol evident. 16.5

Thierry Desseauve: Generous and elegant, tasty and silky. It is a born-to-seduce wine, not so complex but powerful and brilliant. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Dense in ripe fruit to smell; at once ripe, fleshy, and firm, with a fresh, sweetly ripe fruit at its core, a moderate complexity, and good fruit length; an overall firm tannin means that this will still need many more years to mellow. Very good second wine, as at so many top properties this vintage. 2020–30+. 16.5
