BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Dense, deep black-red in appearance, with some lingering opacity. Vivid and lively, with ample lifted fruit: raspberry, plum, and cherry combined in a compote. A touch of bay leaf behind. (A very difficult Bordeaux to guess blind and to place, as ever.) Light, graceful, athletic, delicately structured, with a vivacious cascade of cool fruits. Some brisk tannins lend support; a tobacco-leaf finish. Lots to enjoy in this wine of purity, grace, and depth—though it is decidedly cool in tone overall. | 91
