Andrew Jefford | Dark, dense black-red in color; off-opaque. Fresh and curranty, yet with a lemon citrus complexity and cut, too: swish, elegant, stylish, assured. Lovely élevage: the whispered oak is just right here. Brisk, fresh, clean, and poised— but cool, taut, and compressed, evidently cut from the same cloth as the Chapelle, if more carefully seamed and tailored, and with a little more concentration. Impressive length and discreet, misty tannins. | 88
Michael Schuster | This has a lightly pebbly, ripe red-fruit nose, with a hint of new oak, and is persistent in the glass; medium-full, fresh, lightly tannic wine. Easy, agreeable, lighter claret, with the merest hint (no more) of herbaceousness, and in the year’s overall leaner style. Nice length and very pleasing in its more modest proportions. Now to 2028. | 87
