Michael Schuster: Very cassissy to smell; rich, ample wine, with an abundance of sweetly ripe fruit within a firm tannin; long, sweet, seductively fleshy yet muscular wine, complex, potent, and firmly tannic. A big, powerful St-Emilion, not to everybody’s taste, but certainly imposing. Finishes with a slightly warm/hard impression from the alcohol, but an impressive wine overall, even if not a particularly refreshing glass at table! 2025–50+. 18
