Warm and respiring, with some dry grass scents; the fruit notes, too, have moved away from the pristine character of early youth and are beginning to suggest a little early-stage evolution. Exuberant and expansive but just a touch dry-fruited. That’s to carp; but overall this is a very sound and impressively concentrated mouthful of Pauillac with much to offer over the next 15 years. | 91
