Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Blackcurrant and fresh tea- leaf scents: lively, classic, enticing, if not quite as deep or resonant as the best of its peers. Bright, curranty, relatively dry fruits; not a lot of layers or depth, though with impressive concentration of flavor. Poised, penetrating, and lively, with more structuring acidity than structuring tannins. The wine will certainly last well, though I worry it might become a little insistent and driving over time. | 89
Michael Schuster | Sweet-fruited to smell; medium-full, fresh, finely tannic, very nicely balanced; crisply ripe, juicy, moderately complex, an elegant, restrained expression of the commune, moderate in concentration, but with good fruit length, and complete at the level. Good now, even better in a couple of years. 2024–36+. | 89
