Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red with purple glints at the rim. Blackcurrant fruits, graphite and licorice spice: sweet, chic, and stylish. Very attractive aromas. Lively and darting, though like many Margaux wines in this vintage it is on the slim side in terms of wealth of fruit and supporting textures. Bright, piercing currants with some discreet spice behind, as the aromatic profile suggested. | 88
Michael Schuster | Lightly oak-cedary nose; supple, freshly defined medium-weight with a very light oak-tannin texture; sweetly ripe to taste, clear Margaux finesse, a nice length of flavour, and good length of finish, too. Stylish mid-rank Margaux, drinkable with pleasure now, but with plenty of room for development. Now to 2032+. | 91
