Andrew Jefford | Dark, brooding black-red in color. Fresher than many of its plain Médoc peers in aroma at this stage: bright blackcurrants, yet sweetly ripe, too. Mouthwatering and attractive. There are lovely, deep blackcurrant and black plum fruits here, rolling resonantly around in the glass, and finishing with great pungency, cut, and impact. (Almost plum sherbet! Delicious.) Just super depth and drive of fruit, and with everything else attending on that, but deficient in no respect. An outstanding Potensac in this fine vintage. | 90
Michael Schuster | Very faintly raisiny ripeness to smell; full, fresh to lively in acidity, and moderately tannic; a clear sense of structure here, freshly ripe fruit defined by a light tannin sinew, moderate in complexity, good light aromatic length. This will need a few years. Elegant, nonetheless. 2024–34+. | 88
