Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red, with dense scarlet to the rim. Fresh, lively, with ample black-plum generosity and a poise and lift to the wine, too: very attractive if much simpler than most of its Pomerol peers. On the palate, the wine is spicy and deep, already past the primary phase, without huge refinement or purity of fruit but with plenty of easy-access enjoyment and good depth of fruit, too. | 88
Michael Schuster | Plummy and finely earthy to smell; fullish, moderately concentrated, finely tannic; sweetly ripe, easy, straightforward lesser Pomerol, delicious without being complex, and with very nice fruit length. Very satisfying, warm, “what’s not to like” sappy, succulent claret. Perfect already, but no hurry. Now to 2030+. | 90
