Michael Schuster | A fine, cedary, gravelly, freshly blackcurrant Cabernet nose; nicely balanced, rich medium-full wine, fresh and firmly tannic; plenty of gently chewy textured, crisply ripe fruit here, with both complexity and length, while still remaining slightly old-fashioned in the quality of its less- than-refined tannins, but it has a really nice length of aftertaste, and will doubtless give a great deal of Pauillac satisfaction for very fair outlay! Will need and reward time in bottle. 2028–40+.
