Michael Schuster | A blackcurrant and gravel-aroma’d nose; a very well-balanced rich medium-weight, fresh in acidity, moderate in tannin; fleshy Margaux, with a delicious, quite generous ripe fruit, juicy, mouthfilling, freshly defined, with a nice length of flavor, a fine aromatic component and excellent persistence. A subtly complex Margaux, an excellent Boyd. 2030–50+.
