Michael Schuster | Closed to smell, but also fragrant and subtly mineral-infused; elegant midweight, fresh and finely tannic; Cabernet blackcurrant to taste, and with a clear, fine Cabernet complexity; subtly juicy, gently fleshy, very Margaux in its finesse and purity of texture, long and graceful and with a fine fruit-fragrant finish. Relatively delicate, but classy, classic, restrained Margaux. Not a big wine, but everything is here for a lovely, complete, 2nd growth. 2032–55+.
