Michael Schuster | Ripe blackberry and mineral nose; medium-full, fresh, gently tannic, a very nice, easy balance; sweetly, freshly ripe, a subtle fleshiness and juiciness of texture, a hint of gravel aromas, very nicely judged tannin, a nice length of flavor and excellent, sweet- fruited length. A slightly fuller style of Margaux, a most successful and complete Tertre, the best of recent years? 2028–40+.
