Michael Schuster | Pale gold; dense and intense to smell, ripe guava Semillon, and subtle Sauvignon; full, fresh, concentrated; a deep, dry, mineral- drenched wine, with an unusual density, plus its typical tenacity of flavor; long, clinging, satisfying, packed with ripe fruit, beautifully defined, on the fatter side for the cru, and with fine, throatcoating length. A particularly rich and dense Domaine de Chevalier white, but with a vigorous acidity to support the richness. 2024–35+.
