Michael Schuster | Pale gold; faintly reduced, freshly ripe guava and gooseberry Sauvignon to smell, with a suggestion of gravel aromas; full and fresh-to-vital; generously flavored, bone-dry white, quite succulent and juicy within the relatively broad constitution, a nice length of flavor and good, lightly aromatic length. An excellent second Pape Clément white with both richness and definition. Immediately accessible, but which will likely age nicely for a few years, too. Benchmark, classic white Pessac-Léognan. 2022–25+.
