BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Brilliant straw, with green highlights. A clean nose, inviting, with an elegant white-fruit and flower character. Lively, clean, with a fruit-driven, clean, finish. | 88

Andrew Jefford | Steely and pure, with almost no gold, just white. Rather raw, super-reductive aromas. Zesty and fresh, but for me it is a little bit of a shame when Vermentino is this stripped back. | 83

Michael Palij | Simple, neutral nose, with some citrus character and little else. There’s a pleasant herbal note on the palate of cut grass, but the heavy alcohol dominates the finish. | 82
