Michael Schuster: Dark red. Very fine nose, sweet, perfumed. Well-balanced, elegant middleweight St-Julien, a little oak tannin dry at present; long, ripe, with lovely purity of fruit; lovely scent, subtlety, and persistence; refined, classy. A lovely St-Julien. I just wish there were a bit less new-wood austerity. 2015–30. 16.5+
