BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Saturated ruby to garnet. Large-scaled, chunky, mature red- and black-fruit nose, with some minerals and hints of new oak. Ripe, almost sweet, palate yet clean and fairly complex. Long, with lively acidity. Enjoyable— but sooner rather than later, for my taste. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Very deep dark black-red, though no longer opaque. Warm and quite flamboyant on the aroma, with ample chocolate sweetness and a truffley style of fruits. Deep, intense, searching, primary and modern in articulation, with driving fresh black fruits supported by lively acidity and firm tannins. You have to want this style, but it is very good and has ample time ahead. | 91

Anthony Rose | Deepish youthful ruby in color; substantial oak veneer of vanilla and spice. Instant, sweet gratification, with richly concentrated dark berry fruit encased in an iron grip of firm, chewy tannins and with plenty of fresh acidity for the long haul, which this youthfully vigorous red still needs. | 92
