BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | A touch of evolution in the color, captured on the nose, too; flamboyant and creamy, the hedgerow backdrop well suited to a fairly straightforward early-drinking style. A touch soupy maybe, but beyond that there is real definition of the fruit with blackberry and damson to the fore today. And tomorrow, who knows? Probably more of the same. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Barely deeper than cherry-red; low-definition aromas that barely get beyond a generalized warm fruitiness. A pleasant simple wine. | 80

David Williams | A wine that embodies that Garnacha combination of being simultaneously powerful and soft, gentle even. There’s a silken feel here that is very alluring, but there’s an incipient weight and creaminess, and no little dark plum fruit. Beautifully done. | 93
