Simon Field | Light in color, here the palate tries hard but ultimately feels a little stewed and tries too hard, fruit and tannin reluctant to come to terms with each other, the future thus uncertain. | 83
Andrew Jefford | Pale red: a mid-cherry hue. Some clove spice takes the lead on the aromas. Pleasant wine but very simple fruits. A little tannic support here. | 81
David Williams | Reductive notes mingle with cherry and raspberry. Plenty of concentration but, again, in that paradoxical Garnacha way of seeming initially quite light and silky until the alcohol and, in this case, tannins, build on the palate. A wild quality, too: quite meaty, spicy, herbal. Very intriguing, rewarding repeated returns to the glass. | 92
