BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Intense straw with green highlights. Complex citrus-fruit, apple, apricot, and mineral nose. Intriguing, with petrol and a nutty-like complexity. Beautifully rich yellow-fruit palate, with sweet, complex, layered fruit, and a long, compact finish. A great wine with long aging potential. | 95

Andrew Jefford | Mid-pale gold. Characterful aromas, but slightly odd and faintly animal. On the palate, this combines must-like notes with perfume-grass scents and those same gently animal, gamy, feral allusions. A characterful and concentrated wine in the “natural” idiom, but not one that I would particularly relish drinking. | 85

Michael Palij | Medium lemon, this shows obvious development on the nose, with dried honey, apple skin, wax, wet wool, tinned peaches, and lanolin. The palate is gently phenolic and very long, with a dusty, rounded finish. | 88
