Simon Field | Pale and uninspiring in color, legs and tears and a certain stillness at the core. The ensemble becomes more interesting thereafter, petrichor notes complemented by quince and plum on the nose, the descriptors broadening in the mouth with kumquat, grapefruit, and tangerine all contending for consideration. Firm acidity belies the warm vintage and the finish is persuasive. | 88
Andrew Jefford | Light gold with white glints. Taut, clean, and fresh, though less expressive than some of its peers; a tight-lipped, lemony half-smile. Rich, salty and “mineral” on the palate, and no longer tight-lipped—indeed, it is generous, full, and expansive, with ample dry lemon and fenugreek. Tongue-coating and long, with less assertive acidity than some; indeed, there is almost a sunny succulence: very Santorini. An excellent white. | 91
Demetri Walters | A really lovely ripe apple and lemon-zest bouquet. Rich, ripe, and sweet-fruited on the palate, showing glacé citrus. Full and textured and altogether a “baroque” styling. Very expressive and lengthy. | 92
