BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | Pale color and a gloriously expressive nose of quince, ginger, and the orange grove; gunflint and gorse, rose petals and barley sugar; the palate is poised and evocative, its miraculously modest alcohol allowing the ensemble to dance unassumingly; the Bacchae on a balmy evening. A gentle crescendo beyond a beguiling rhythm. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Water white. Lovely fragrant rose-petal aromas: you could sniff this for hours. Super- pretty. On the palate, it is very light, reductive, and primary, but a bit stripped back for my taste. A cascade of acidity dominates the palate. | 87

Demetri Walters | Attractive Muscat-like grape and lemon-zest bouquet. Yeasty notes and a lemon twist combine on the palate with candied citrus notes. Quite light on the palate and modest in alcohol. Markedly fresh, fragrant, and very pleasant indeed. | 91
