BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | Light of hue, its aromatics more persuasive, if somewhat raw in places. Primary fruit to the fore, nonetheless, elegant natural acidity, and a modest yet finely balanced alcoholic backdrop. | 86

Andrew Jefford | Another water-white wine. Clean, fresh, and fragrant, though without the ravishing charm of [Skouras Mavrofilero Salto Peloponnese Greece 2018]. Part of the prettiness here, though, is in the understatement: just a whisper of rose, of tangerine, of lemon. On the palate, too, it is a wine with a bit more resource and depth than some of its peers: perfumed, fresh, and enticing, but structured and mid-length, with a little vinous drive behind the scented acidity. | 89

Demetri Walters | Leesy savory notes combine with lemon-zest and grapey aromas and flavors to create a lighter weight quaffable wine with a markedly fragrant bouquet. More restrained on the palate, but still sufficiently fresh and vivid to provide a great accompaniment to flavorsome and fairly embellished cuisine. | 88
