Simon Field | A non-vintage Retsina to remind us of a far from dishonorable past. A style to divide the room, a pine-needled resinous symphony of tradition and the mythological call of the ancient forest. I am definitely in the remain camp. | 90
Andrew Jefford | Steel white with some spritz. Classy Retsina, with all the piney aroma you could wish for in warm, high-summer style. Pure, vivid, fresh, and long. The ultimate “acquired taste” but beloved by generations of holidaymakers, as they recall those taverna meals by the sea. This is clean, long, and haunting. | 85
Demetri Walters | An excellent Retsina showing the mouthfeel of some skin contact, as well as very judicious use of pine resin. This is nothing like the Retsinas of yesteryear and all the better for it! Roditis provides breadth and texture here, aided and abetted by time on skins. Though this is a relatively neutrally fruited wine, it shows all the non-fruit integrity of a terrific food wine. | 92
