Simon Field | A modest color, still with a little spritz. The aromatic, however, is far from modest, and the palate distinctly immodest. On its own, the wine is a little foursquare, surely to be rescued and enhanced by food. Its potential is clear, however. | 87
Andrew Jefford | Steel bright. Clean and fresh, but there’s much less aromatic intrigue here than for most of its blended peers. Lemony and full. On the palate, though, it is yet another of those wines that proves much more concentrated, dense, and serious than the aromas had suggested: outstandingly good here, deep and long, with salty edges and ample, structured, close- textured intrigue. Then I notice it comes from Santorini, and suddenly everything makes sense. The power of terroir! A super blend to up the complexity and classicism of what this magnificent wine can produce: white Burgundy standards of seriousness, though utterly different in character. | 92
Demetri Walters | Markedly volatile. Just too much acetic tomato leaf to get around on the nose. A shame, because the texture and volume of the wine are compelling. | 74
