Neil Beckett | This second organic cuvée affords a fascinating opportunity to compare the influence of the different soil types from which they originate, as both wines are deliberately vinified the same way (all stainless steel, whereas all the other wines in the range see some wood). Aromatically this conjures up images of fine bone china—more floral allure than the Petit Chablis, finer and tauter, with good definition and precision, and still remarkable concentration for the level. Very well-judged ripeness, with appetizing but controlled acidity (all the wines having gone through their malolactic fermentation). | 89
