Neil Beckett | A blend from favorably sited plots. Medium- deep ruby, impressive intensity. Good aromatic definition and frehness, with a distinctive but not unattractive savory note, then a lick of licorice. Exceptionally silky entry, darkly fruited, concentrated but supple thanks to remarkably fine tannins for the level, and still very vibrant, too. Hors classe: closer to a top village or even lesser premier cru in quality. | 89
