BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Deep ruby to pink. Mature yet restrained nose, with intense herbal character. Black cherries and dried herbs, with blood oranges, smoke, and road tar. Full body, with mature red and black fruit well-supported by the layered tannins. Long and generous finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear black-red. Strained, sinewy, hot aromas suggesting an unhappy ripening trajectory and some mixed ripeness or a vineyard issue of some sort. Rather a varnishy, high-toned palate also, though the wine is concentrated and there is some serious tannin here, too. | 81

Michael Palij | This wine shows distinct aromas of cooked fruit, tar, black cherry, and balsamic notes. On the palate, the drying tannins and fine acidity combine with the high alcohol to dominate the palate. The wine remains underfruited. | 89
