Bruno Besa | Brilliant straw with golden highlights. Refined and clean, complex and restrained, with intense minerality, white and yellow fruits, fresh herbs, hints of vanilla, lemon grass, and wet river stones. Balanced, clean, mature, yet lively and mineral, with a long, clean finish. A great Soave to enjoy over the next few years. | 94
Andrew Jefford | Still pale and steel-gold. Fresh still, and delicately creamy, with lots of supple pounded white almond. Attractive. On the palate, the years have taken a little of the shine off the wine, and there is now a kind of lactic or yogurty note to the very delicate pear and almond fruit, but in the context of this cohort it is still an out-and-out star. Choice, creamy, almondy, graceful. | 89
Michael Palij | Still youthful, this has a positively Burgundian feel to the nose, with apple, apricot, tangerine, brioche, almond, elderflower, dried honey, and ginger. The palate is stunning, with oodles of length and a complexity that really lifts this wine out of the appellation. Barrel-ferment notes perfectly complement the fruit to create a delicious and ageworthy white. | 94
