Nicolas Belfrage | Mainly light yellow with faintest hint of ramato. Scented nose, fresh and appealing. Ripe, generous fruit on the palate, with just a touch of residual sugar. A Pinot Grigio to be taken seriously; a good example of what it’s all about. | 93
Bruno Besa | Pale onion skin. Clean and restrained, with orange and pink grapefruit on the nose. Balanced, fairly intense palate, with moderate length on the finish. | 89
Andrew Jefford | Subtle pale salmon-pink, with lots of delicate sweet fruits and creamy fullness. Very attractive, mellow, poised, and engaging. On the palate, too, this is a very attractive wine, with ample softness and subtlety, carefully phrased apple and light cherry fruits, and a clean, mouth-freshening finish. Ample charm here, and there are vinous depths to lend some drive and length to the finish. Yet another of those Pinot Grigios that it would be so easy just to let slip by with a modest score because its virtues are unshowy, yet that is in truth a quality wine, fine-detailed and nuanced, with magnificent qualities of drinkability and gastronomic aptitude. | 91
