BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Pale straw with green highlights. Clean and intense, with some new wood, a complex mineral character, and hints of sage and freshly cut hay. Intense, complex palate, with layered yellow and white fruit. Long and mineral. A wine that needs some more aging. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Pale bright gold. Some yeasty fullness and jonquil, bulb-like plant-sap notes. Characterful and fresh. Vivid, boisterous, and lively, with ample concentration, plant sap, and juicy apple, plum, and nut. | 87

Michael Palij | Slight tertiary notes of ginger, wax, and tinned peaches are allied to toffee apple, cashew, and honeysuckle in a remarkably complex example of Friulano. The palate is similarly textured and very long, with intensity and great balance. This is a superb effort. | 92
