Bruno Besa | Straw to golden. Open, mature, intense yellow-fruit character, with camomile, yellow plums, orange blossom, sage, and lavender. Rich palate, with intense, layered fruit. Long and ripe, yet also lively and mineral on the finish. | 93
Andrew Jefford | A relatively full gold now. Much quieter aromatically and more restrained than many of its peers; softly nutty, though quiet. Intense, concentrated, driving, and long: very impressive. The scoring challenge is that it has very few allusive handles to grab hold of, but those ripe, surging acids and the wine’s textural wealth combine enticingly: another serious, chewy, deep, even grandiose white. Fine with food but don’t expect to spout a fountain of adjectives. | 90
Michael Palij | Slightly confected nose, diffuse aromatics; generosity on the palate, but perhaps lacks the precision. A simple but not unpleasant finish. | 81
